The story : When a series of meteorite strikes destroy civilisation, little orphan Roxy Hawkins is taken in by a group of refugees fleeing a devastated London. As they head North, the survivors face starvation, nuclear winter, plagues and bands of marauding killers hell bent on grabbing the few supplies remaining from the old society.
These warring clans are unaware that the bombardment from space was the prelude to alien invasion. Now, with the invaders closing in, their only chance of salvation may lie in the mind of an eleven year old girl.
